Frequently asked questions

Where is my cardroom data hosted?

CardOpz hosts all client data on US-based Microsoft Azure infrastructure. Each cardroom receives a dedicated, isolated database. Data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.2+), with continuous automated backups and geo-redundant storage.

What does 99.70% uptime mean for my poker room?

A 99.70% uptime SLA means the platform is guaranteed to be available at least 99.70% of the time — less than 9 hours of downtime per year. CardOpz achieves this through redundant infrastructure, automatic failover, and zero-downtime deployments.

Can I access my system offline?

The CardOpz desktop client includes offline capabilities for critical floor operations. If your internet drops, table status and active game management continue to function locally. When connectivity is restored, all data syncs automatically with the cloud platform.

How does data flow between the cloud and my floor?

CardOpz uses real-time sync between your cloud dashboard, desktop client, and player app. When a floor manager updates a table status, it appears instantly on dealer tablets and the player app. When a player joins a waitlist, it shows immediately on the floor. One update propagates everywhere.
